TONY WELDON
TRUE AMERICAN PORTRAITS
 
 
Tony Weldon is an artist of Cherokee decent currently residing 
in Tampa, Florida.
His work explores the spirit of his Native American heritage through his detailed graphite pencil drawings, scratchboard drawings and acrylic paintings.
He has studied art at Reinhardt College in Georgia and has a Fine Arts Degree from the Ringling College of Art & Design in Florida.
His work can be found in private collections across the U.S.                                 
His drawing “Learning To Fly” is in the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian as part of their permanent collection.
Several of his works are also in the permanent collection of The Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, Georgia.
